Matt Damon Named `Sexiest Man Alive’

Matt Damon has been named the “sexiest man alive” by People magazine, an honor that has been bestowed twice on his pals George Clooney and Brad Pitt.The 37-year-old actor is featured on the cover of People’s annual issue, on newsstands Friday. Damon, who is married to Luciana Bozan, said the honor came as a surprise.

“You gave an aging suburban dad the ego boost of a lifetime,” he says in a letter published in the magazine. “My 9-year-old stepdaughter now thinks I’m cool well, cooler.”

Damon, who has a 1-year-old daughter, Isabella, with Bozan, says “all the campaigning” by Clooney and Pitt had finally paid off.

“Unfortunately, after all those years out on the trail, the meet and greets, the fundraisers, the stump speeches, I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that this is a mantle I wasn’t meant to hold,” he says in the letter, which was signed “Matty.”

“Don’t get me wrong, though. I was really shocked and happy (Lucy said I actually blushed) when I heard the news. So I can’t thank you enough for that.”

People’s “sexiest man alive” list began in 1985 with Mel Gibson. Others on the list: Clooney (1997 and 2006), Pitt (1995 and 2000), Denzel Washington (1996) and Johnny Depp (2003).

Damon won a screenwriting Oscar with Ben Affleck in 1998 for “Good Will Hunting.” Both Damon and Affleck starred in the movie.

He has also starred in “The Departed,” “Syriana,” the “Ocean’s” franchise with Clooney and Pitt, and “The Bourne Identity” and its two sequels.

What type of person would you describe yourself as?
I’m shy to people i do not but I’m damn noisy to those who i do know. I’m not the type of person who can act all mushy with you if i do not know you at all. I’m nice, if you’re nice to be. I’ll smile my widest smile at you if you smile at me, i’ll also smile my widest smile at you even if i catch you staring at me. I have my own opinions and most of the time i’m quite frank to the people around me.
What type of job do you want to have in the future?
I want a job that requires me to travel all over the world. I want a job that allows me to have fun and yet get work done. A job that i would want to do even when i’m feeling shite. Ouh, and the job obviously needs to pay well. It must also allow me to be creative and colourful.
What type of friends do you have?
I have real friends, the type who i meet in school. I don’t have the type of friends who you meet online and get all mushy with and start calling one another ‘my darling’ ‘my bitch’. My friends are usually louder and noisier than me. Some of them are highly opiniated. We don’t always agree, but we get along fine.
What type of friend do you want to be?
I want to be the friend that my friends can talk to about anything. I wanna be and maybe i already am the person who keeps the secrets of everyone. I want to be the friend that all my friends can rely on. I don’t wanna be the friend that agrees with everything. I definately don’t wanna be the friend who backstabs.
What food do you usually eat?
I usually eat homecooked food. Homecooked food refers to the soups, curries, sambals, wanton mee, chicken rice, nasi lemak that my mum cooks. I do eat junk food but not as often. I do not like to spend money on food, therefore i usually do not eat expensive foods. I eat food that i feel like eating at that moment.
What type of boy/girl do you like?
The guy should not be a typical tamileh. He has to be smart, and must understand the meaning of ‘duh’(LOL. i have my reasons.). The guy mustn’t be those kind of guys who can take away my freedom and all. He must also love arguing with me, and not get so tensed about the little things. He should be the type who mixes with other girls and yet stays loyal to me. (HARD TO FIND THESE DAYS). He must also have a good dressing sense.
What type of person do you hate the most?
I hate people who have a big, bulging self-esteem. I hate the type of people who think that they’re better than everyone else. I also hate people who are fake, so fake that they practically smother you with sugary words, and talk shit about you to others. I hate those who always think that they’re right and refuse to even carry out a simple discussion.  I freaking hate rude people the most.
What type of student are you?
Not a bad one, not a good one either. I eat, listen, sleep, dream, draw, talk in class. I hand in homework that is messy, but still at least i do hand in my homework. I sometimes copy homework. I tend to keep ALOT of things till the very last minute.
What type of person will you forward this message to?
None. I will not force anyone to do this thing. However i do recommend it to those who are bored. The quiz lets you ponder on some stuff. It also takes time.

I decided to change to wordpress. Life’s much easier this way. My posts and everything’s like more sorted out and stuff la. Plus my blogger did not have the textcolour thingy anymore. So dull.

So anyway, today was the physics paper, which i think was all right. Its the papers on Monday that i’m most afraid of. Biology and Social Studies. GOSH. Two extremely heavy subjects. All that memory work. I’m so screwed la.

Yeah ok, the practicals were alright except for the damn chem prac.
&&Eng paper was allright. title was Heroes.
When i saw that title my first thoughts were:
1) the tv series that i TRIED to follow: heroes
2) Spiderman
3) Cancer
4) Power Rangers
so i wrote a story about the family of a woman who has cancer.
blabla about how they pulled through.
Ouhhh,
and i started my story like this:

The litte boy looked at the walls of his room to see various posters pasted on them.

“Superman, Batman, Spiderman… I must be strong like them”, the little boy told himself…. bla bla and then he started crying. (this was coz the little boy just heard that his mum has cancer and his mum had told him to be strong)
LOL.
i know! superman batman spiderman. i almost wanted to write down power rangers.

so anyways…
amaths papers were managable.
emaths was easy. (i’m scared)
Chemistry was managable. i did silly mistakes.
Geography was ok. i talked rubbish.

oooh and deepavali is round the corner.
honestly, deepavali has lost all its religious and traditional meanings.
at least for me its so.
Deepavali to me is all about dressing up. and eating.
i know that’s rather superficial. but thats what its become.
